I started the year, noting that my One Word for 2018 is Optimism. The One Word approach is suggested by Jon Gordon. Last year, Gordon authored The Power of Positive Leadership: How and Why Positive Leaders Transform Teams and Organizations and Change the World.
In the book, Gordon argues that being positive doesn’t just make you better; it makes everyone around you better. In fact, positivity is a difference maker in business, education, life, and sports.
