When I started this blog, I intentionally branded my business “Out of This World Leadership.” My blog tagline “Serving Leaders who Shoot for the Stars” describes my leadership philosophy and style of servant leadership. I want to help others on their journey as they “shoot for the stars”.
So, I find it affirming that the 19th of John Maxwell’s 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader focuses on Servanthood–the true measure of greatness. Last year, we focused on the NIV Leadership Bible’s perspective with the post on “Jesus Christ: The Ultimate Servant Leader.”
Jesus went to great lengths to earn the title “Servant.” How about you? What can you learn from Jesus’ example and the contrast he provides to the typical worldview on leadership?
